About SingleTec
SingleTec is a small software studio. We make our own Shopify app, SGT, and build Shopify stores, websites, mobile apps, backends and AI features for businesses.
Our product
SGT: SKU and Barcode Generator has been on the Shopify App Store since June 2023 and carries the Built for Shopify badge. Merchants use it to create SKUs and GS1 barcodes, find duplicate codes, import codes from spreadsheets, and design and print barcode and QR code labels.
How we build
We use Claude Code, Anthropic's AI coding tool, every day to write, review and test our software, including SGT. It lets a small team build carefully and test more: the label printing in SGT, for example, is checked by automated tests in three browsers against real templates before every release.
For clients we build AI features with the Claude API where they genuinely help, such as search, writing assistance and support tools, and automations that remove repetitive work. A person reviews anything that matters before it reaches customers.
